Santa’s Ripley Castle Christmas Experience

Create  the Most Magical Family Memories this Christmas at Ripley Castle

Father Christmas is coming to Ripley Castle for the most magical Christmas Experience this year.

Delight the children with Christmas Cookie decorating, Christmas crafts, an Elf Magic Show followed by The amazing  Willy Wonka as a special guest before the main event, an audience with Father Christmas with his Mini Panto style show. All this in the magical setting of Ripley Castle.

 

You will enter the castle via the entrance opposite the Tea Rooms, where our Elves will welcome you into the Castle.

Santa’s very special helpers will take you into the old stable of the Castle’s East Wing where they will be on hand to help you decorate a Christmas cookie, write a letter to Santa and other Christmas crafts.

The stables POP UP Cafe/Bar will be open for adults to grab a drink if they wish and for the children to pick up their Hot Chocolate. 

(Tickets includes Hot Chocolate for the children and treat for the adults) 

 

Willy Wonka will also be wandering around the stable’s areas for photos, before his show starts.

 

Once your crafts are complete, your journey continues along the decorated stable’s rooms of the castle where, your child can enjoy a hot chocolate (and maybe munch on that newly decorated cookie!). Here our chief Elf will be showing off his Christmas balloon modelling skills, making each child their own balloon model that you can pick up on your way out. (Not to be taken into the show but picked up at the end as you leave)

 

Next, we go into the East Wing area where Our Chief Elf, Elfie, will perform his Elf Magic show with his comical Magic tricks. Can the boys and girls help him with his magic. The Magic Show will be around 10-15mins.

Our special guest and  “Willy Wonka style Entertainer” (New Willy Wonka film comes out on 15th December) will mesmerise you with his show using magical crystal balls and magical hoops. You will not believe the magic you see and hear. Willy Wonka will have been wandering around the stable’s areas for photos. Approx 10mins

​

Santa’s favourite Elf Jingle will come and warm everybody up & get the Children excited for the arrival of the Big Man himself “Santa.”

 

Then for the star of the show Santa and his Elves who will entertain everyone with a panto style Performance that includes a Christmas Sing along and interactive audience participation that will get you and your family into the Christmas Spirit.

Every Child with a Ticket will have their name mentioned during the performance for that magical moment and those with an upgraded Deluxe Ticket  will also be amazed with more things that Santa knows about them that will be included in the show and during their chat at the end! (Deluxe child Limited numbers ONLY 5 per session )

After the Show, Every Child (Std and deluxe)  will go up with their family to have their photo taken & to tell Santa about any last-minute gifts they would like.

They will also receive a small gift from Santa (only child ticket holders) The deluxe ticket holders will have more time with Santa. 

The performance/show will last around 20mins.

 

As the Children leave with their families through the East Wing glass doors into the courtyard, the Elves will be giving a little bag of sweets from the Sweet Cart next to the exit.

Wrap up warm - Your Ripley Castle Christmas Experience ticket will also give you access to the beautiful Ripley Castle Gardens, where you could see if you can spot Rudolph & his friends in the neighbouring deer park.

​

No visit to Ripley Castle would be complete without a stroll into Ripley Castle deer park & Gardens. Some of the oak trees are one thousand years old and they still look magnificent with their impressive height and gnarled branches. You will see plenty of wildlife on your way round the deer park: fallow deer, rabbits, squirrels, heron, Canada and greylag geese, mallard, teal, pigeon, pheasants, woodpeckers and, if you are very lucky, a kingfisher as it flashes past. The park walk takes you round the castle’s large ornamental lake, across the waterfall and into the deer park itself,

Before they leave the children can choose a Christmas sweet treat from one of the Elves.
